Photos that sell: how to shoot your listing
3 min read

Listings with good photos get opened far more often. Here is what makes the difference.
Shoot in daylight, outside, never in a dark garage. The best light is morning or late afternoon.
Clean the item before shooting. A washed car or a tidy room says “well kept” — half of the buyer's decision.
Shoot from several angles: front, back, side, interior. For cars, always include the odometer; for flats, the windows and the view, not just furniture.
No filters, and don't hide flaws. A scratch seen in the photo builds trust; the same scratch discovered in person kills the sale.
Hold the phone horizontally — wide photos look better on every screen.
